Refund and Returns Policy

SwimTowel (Swimdry) does not offer voluntary change-of-mind returns or exchanges beyond your statutory rights. Nothing in this policy limits rights that apply under South African consumer law.

Online cooling-off rights

Where section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act applies, you may cancel an online purchase without giving a reason or paying a penalty within seven days after receiving the goods. Only the direct cost of returning the goods may be charged to you. We will refund payments within 30 days after cancellation.

Personalised and made-to-order goods

The online cooling-off right does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, where the statutory exception applies. We do not offer voluntary change-of-mind returns on these goods. Your rights relating to defective or non-conforming goods still apply.

Defective goods and incorrect deliveries

Where the Consumer Protection Act applies, goods that do not meet its quality requirements may be returned within six months after delivery at our risk and expense. You may choose a repair, replacement or refund as provided by the Act. This protection also applies to sale items and personalised goods.

If your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us promptly so we can assist. Prompt notification helps us investigate; it does not shorten your statutory time limits.

How to contact us

Email orders@swimtowel.co.za with your order number or other proof of purchase and a description of the issue. Photos can help us assess damage or defects. We will provide return instructions and confirm the correct return address. Contacting us for instructions does not make a statutory return dependent on our approval.

Customers arrange the return courier. Please retain your proof of dispatch when returning goods. Return costs and responsibility will be handled according to the legal basis for your return. If a refund has been processed but has not appeared in your account, contact us so we can help trace it.
